Let’s Catch Up: An Apology, An Update And A Fresh Start

You may be asking ‘what happened to you?’

My goodness retirement isn’t for the faint of heart let me tell you.

I apologize for the lack of blogposts in October and November. This season tends to fly by, does anyone else feel that way?

I do pray for my readers and hope you’re well during this holiday season.

If you haven’t heard in our home it’s taking my husband, myself and our oldest daughter to train our gorgeous 6 month old English Creme Golden Retriever, Sienna. Never have I met a more affectionate dog. If she’s not on top of you she will find a way to wedge in next to you.

I actually live for the nose to nose boops she gives.

We’re also busy bringing our house up to another level for selling it in the next few years.

You know the fresh coat of paint. Replacing broken fireplace screen, renovating kitchen and bathrooms. At least that’s the plan. Currently, we’re working on solving a problem with a pipe leaking.

But I told my husband I’m loving the upgrades so much I won’t want to move!

Family is also a work in progress. Managing doctor’s visits, cooking,  delivering food and helping my 89 year old mom and 92 year old father has been challenging. You caretakers know what I’m talking about.

But there’s fun sprinkled in as well. Exercise classes, coffee with friends and Friday night dinners out with my Lovey (husband Sam) are just a few. We’ll be catching the movie David in theaters next Saturday.

The biggest test I’ve faced is deciding what medicare plan to follow. And getting all those preventative care tests done. Anyone with me?

Since Stealth was published you’ve asked me for more. I’m working on a cozy mystery that has been fun to write. And I hope you love it as much as my first novel. By the way, thank you for your feedback through emails and word of mouth! I’m honored that several of you have introduced Stealth to your book clubs and bible studies. What a thrill!

For my birthday in November, I made Stealth available to download for free! If you got your free ebook and loved it will you please share the love with a review on Amazon or Goodreads? Thank you in advance.

Enough about me, how have you been since my last post in September? Please share in the comments section below. I’d love to know.
